The Folk National style home is a reference to early America and homes that were often times seen on farmsteads. This particular home was modeled after the Thomas Nall Farmhouse in Prairie Village Kansas. We built this home in the Westbridge Neighborhood of Waunakee Wisconsin for the 2020 Madison Area Builders Association Parade of Homes.

Perched on a hill just outside of Waunakee sits this beauty. Everything about this house makes you stop and look twice. This house hints at a western style ranch you would see in Montana on a 1000 acre ranch. No matter the time of day or season, this house is always saying hello when you drive by.
This home is an example of building on a narrow lot by a lake. Lake lots and the surrounding area can pose challenges based on Topography and width. This home is packed full of incredible features and details.
Located in The Vineyards of Cambridge Wisconsin, this home served as our 2018 entry of the Madison Area Builders Association Parade of Homes. We went with a monochromatic red by James Hardie on the exterior and reclaimed barnwood for the garage. It was common in the early days of our country to attach the barn to the home. This provided safe access to firewood, food and other resources during harsh winters.
Located in Pine Hill Farms of Madison, this home is a wonderful 2 bedroom Craftsman Bungalow with a lot built in's and classic features. The exterior was finished in LP Smartside. LP Smartside offers the ability use almost any color you can think of and this will make your home stand.
This particular home was a custom build in Hollandale Wisconsin in 2016. The home is a modern take on Wing and Gable. The Gable side is 2 stories with a loft that looks over the vaulted ceiling of the wing portion of the home. The home was finished in LP Smartside and we came up with a red blend on the garage that has not faded.
The owners of this home are Frank Lloyd Wright Preservationist Volunteers and they wanted a home where you could feel Wright's Influence. From the Fireplace to Lighting, the lines and colors, this home is truly an FLW Prairie!
Built in 2019, this was the 5th home since 2010 that was all dark brown. We have been pioneers in the use of color and setting trends. Since this house was built, dozens of monochromatic homes have popped up. This home is packed with traditional details and authentic features.
